It began amidst the rush of late October, running through Piccadilly Station in London to catch a train. In that brief pause between places, an enigmatic message from Jakub, titled simply visuals, cellist, caught me completely by surprise. It was a simple collaboration proposal, yet creating alongside music had always been a lifelong dream of mine.
At that moment, I had no idea it would evolve into a shared artistic venture and two years of a search both challenging and beautiful. With the album in its rawest stages, we stepped into a space of creative discovery, exploring how to build visual narratives around sound and weave two mediums into one.
Art has a quiet, magical way of connecting people through a shared artistic sensibility.
We can finally share that the very first single from the album will premiere on September 18th.
Upon the very first listen, one piece held me completely with its delicacy from the first note: the track now titled L’Eau. Resonant. At once grand and fragile. Forceful. Deeply contemplative. Pure.
While we were developing the concept, a deep cobalt blue kept reemerging as the defining color for the piece's emotional tone.
Just as the winter ice began to melt, we ventured across Iceland in search of the setting for the film. Breathing in the crisp air, I felt a rare and spellbound grace. A childhood dream softly catching up to the present, blooming silently into reality before my eyes.
